Fits both, the older 2.2 gallon (black tank in photos) tanks and the newer 3.3 gallon.
Shown on a `97 Sportster 3.3 tank (white tank)

NOTE: These decals are removable, but use caution if you have an old tank, especially with chips in it`s clearcoat. The clearcoat can peel up upon removal.
